Registered Red Angus
I have been breeding Red Angus Beef Cattle 15 years now for superior genetics. My bulls and replacement heifers are sired by semen from the best Red Angus Bulls offered by: Genex, Alta, ABS, Select Sires, Bovine Elite, and individual semen purchased from exceptional Red Angus Bulls across the country.

I breed for strong maternal genetics, low birthweight, elite growth and carcass merit, good feet body structure, and gentle disposition. My bulls are positioned near the top of the Red Angus Breed in all three indexes: ProS, Herd Builder, Gridmaster. Their EPDs rank them in the top 10% to 20%

My bulls are A.I Sons and Grandsons of the best Red Angus Bulls in the Country. My cow herd is made up of A.I daughters from the best Red Angus Bulls in the Country.
Superior A.I Genetics
KJ Red Angus is recognized for genetics which combine a genuine balance of desirable traits: calving ease , maternal traits, rapid growth to yearling age, carcass traits, gentle disposition, good feet, and strong body structure traits. Our heifer bulls are calving ease bulls with low birth weigh calves that grow extremely fast to yearling age.
Moderate Mature Size
An important characteristic of Kj Red Angus Cattle which makes them ideal for producing replacement females and building a low cost, efficient cow herd is their moderate mature size. The frame size we want is from 4.5 to 5.5. Our first calf heifers will weigh 1000 to 1100 pounds. Our cows will weigh 1100 to 1200 pounds. These heifers and cows are weaning 700 pound calves in 205 days. We believe we have the best genetics for efficiency.
